Damn, now I've gotta get up an extra hour earlier to make it to work on time Monday (not counting shoveling). I HATE SNOW!!!!!!
Unless you work for the govt jixx....I doubt very much you will be going to work tomorrow..even if your company is one of those that rarely closes...I just doubt it.
I finally got dressed and took my Nikon D40 out for a walk. This looks a little better than the Blackberry
Great pics hiker. STRONG WINDS MAY ALSO DOWN SOME POWER LINES...TREE LIMBS...AND CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. * TIMING...SNOW WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON INTO MUCH OF TONIGHT. Guess whose bus back to DC just got canceled with work tomorrow morning. I actually wouldn't be that upset about this if I wasn't paid by the hour.
guaranteed that will not happen. They always extend the end about 6 hours...I think it will end even earlier...probably between 6 and 9 am. Still blowing and drifting snow all day because of intense winds. In North Jersey...the heaviest snows are entering the area in the next hour and it will get impossible out there for about 7 to 9 hours. Central and Southern Jersey are getting crushed right now with over 2" an hour totals.
In normal conditions my commute is 2 and a half hours each way on foot. Can't wait for work tomorrow. *grumble*
That seems to be the jackpot area up in northern nj. I cant see how it doesnt hit at least 20". It all depends if the storm center continues to move as slow as it has the past 3 hours...or if it picks up speed when it get up to long island as projected. I would say yes to the 20. You must have at least 8 now? I have 7 and its coming down in buckets.
i am in dutchess county.just walked outside and there is 12'' and stillcoming down hard.first winter back here after spending 17 years in fla.this is freaking cool
I'm in Hyde Park. Shit got real the last few hours. It didn't seem that bad last time I was outside. I just went outside after seeing your post and it is pretty nuts.
