He is like 15-20 miles away from me and lights have been flickering in my house for the last 2 hours. I charged all my electronic devices and I don't even have a generator. At the mercy of God. I cleaned the driveway and cars are full of gas and I am out of here if we lose power. Will take kids and wife and spend the night at a hotel. EDIT : I see that Jay posted Yay. Jay. Just got a text from the town saying crews are working through the night to clear roads, but no guarantees because of low salt supply. And they said watch the forecast for the "second storm" tonight. Great. Again, I just hope it is snow and not ice.
yes, it does start as a mix for many then by 9 to `10 turns to heavy snow for many. Yeah....4 to 8 for almost all and again, banding will setup on NJ and NY where people get 8 to 10 more inches of snow. Schools in our district have had enough, closed already tomorrow too.
JWWS. IF the first storm never happened...and the second storm was by itself, many people would have a winter storm warning just for this second storm. This second batch and the way it will impact many..and the diversity of it, will make this storm for many top 5 of all time.
Second batch less than an hour away from NNJ and NYC..and 90 Minutes from SE NY state and L.I. It will probably start as a mixed bag but that will change within an hour or 2.
