Winning 3 Superbowls buys you a lot of leverage. Either way, I think you can make the case that the Bills offense will be better than the Jets. The Jets offense never puts up big numbers - it just does enough to win. The Bills occasionally have one of those exciting, Lee Evans scoring 3 TDs kind of games. But to rank Miami above the Jets on offense? That's just silly. The Dolphins offense is going to be laughable this season. Am I really supposed to be afraid of Trent Green, Ronnie Brown, and Chris Chambers? I'm talking about now, looking at what those 3 guys did last season. Not the undeserved reputations they have built up.
and was drafted how many yrs ago...? over a decade... So in over a decade of all the players that got drafted from their, they had one skill player pan out.
You said: I was just pointing out that one of the guys you listed has made as much of an impact coming into the NFL as anybody else who ever played his position. Timing has nothing to do with it. A superstar from Cal a decade ago invalidates the statement you made. Personally I think Marshawn Lynch has a real chance to be as impactful as Tony Gonzalez was. His numbers in college against good competition are just silly. They look like Marshall Faulk type numbers. Whether he'll turn out or not, who knows, but he sure has a strong chance and I'd probably take him over anybody in the AFC East but Ronnie Brown right now. That's sight unseen at the NFL level.
Your argument is so Jet Biased-- you can't say that we have a proven RB in Jones, and also say that Trent Green is considered a New QB, and buffalo's line is a bunch of cast-offs. I could make our offense sound really bad if I worded things that way. A QB who with a weak arm, and only has 1 full season under him- a new RB who has been on 4 teams in 6 years, a line with 2 inexperienced players, 2 average players, and 1 angry vetern who may not return... an average TE with no depth behind him, and only 1 1000 yard receiver starting. that's not how I feel about the team, but I can understand where Jaws is coming from, and I'm not going to kill him for putting us 4th, instead of 2nd. Miami just got a good qb, and drafted another WR to go with Chambers-- Buffalo just rebuilt their line, and have 2 very good receivers who smoked us when we played them-- Evans, and Parrish. Their QB had comperable numbers to CP, if not better, and he's still on his way up. You have to open your eyes a bit, and just take the comments for what they are worth. We didn't have a great offense last year, and we brought in Jones, and may lose Kendal. To say we are much improved on that side of the ball is optimistic.
Okay Jaworski's obviously on some drug or something. Let's get realistic here. In our devision, offense should go like this: 1.Pats 2.Jets 3.Phins 4.Bills the defense should be like this though: 1.Pats 2.Phins 3.Jets 4.Bills The Jets do have a great dfense, but the phins dfense can definatly play up to par with the Pats dfesnse with all the talent the phins. As for the offense, The Jets, without a doubt have the 2nd best in the division. I don't know what Jaworski was smoking, but he better lay off the stuff for a while.
LMAO how does timing have nothing to do wth it, are you saying the program they had 12 yrs ago when he was drafted out of cal is the same as now? That just proves how silly you are, nobody in a skill position has come from tedfords system and succeeded at the next level, its a fact. Ill take all 3 startering AFC east RBs over lynch at this point, you know... the guys who have actually proven somethin at the next level....
LOL @ calling the 24 year old QB who just had AT LEAST as good a season as our QB a "bottom 3rd" QB. If Losman was the Jets QB and put up those same numbers for us, we'd be talking about how we were set at QB for the next decade.
He feels that Coles is done now. He is on borrowed time and we all know it. I personally think we can get at least one more good year out of him. How many hits can he take going over the middle for fludder balls. I respect his opinion but I think Coles has the heart to give us one more good year.
The guy is a competitor, and yes, he's taken his hits, but he has more than one year left in him. He is still playing at an extremely high level and is still very productive. Cotchery may ultimately surpass him on the depth chart, but Coles definately has more than one year left
If we had Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss running deep who is going to throw it to them? What good would a deep threat be on this team. We need big tough receivers to go and get the 5-20 yard passes our Qb throws. A 25 yard pass is a bomb from Chad!
Yes we really would. He put up the same numbers as Chad who is over 30 now and 75% of the board thinks he can take us to the Super bowl. If Losman were our Qb people would have him pegged as the next Broadway Joe!
