That's exactly what I was going to say, particularly about the 50s. This isn't Jackie Robinson being traded to the Giants, folks - every one of these guys is a hired gun, and that's all there is to it. I'm with Jerry Seinfeld - I root for the laundry.
If I ever become single.....I'm going to cover my living room with flat screens and have this as a screen saver
Definitely not the same thing. JT to the Jets would be the equivalent of Youkilis or Paplebum joining the Yankees after being on the Sox for 15 years. I would puke...
People are ridiculous and petty, it's quite sad. While I think he was a bit cautious and unsure when he signed and started his career with the Jets, I believe everything has settled over time. Once he started practicing, being around the coaches and his new teammates, and once the season started and everyone started playing I think it's past any sticking points. He's played well, come up with some big plays, had support from the majority of the fan base, loves the coaching staff, and enjoys playing with the team. I do not think he necessarily completely expected any of that when, again he signed with the Jets, but I think it's come to the point where it's grown on him and others (the team and the fans).
