Jason Smith to NY, WFH to Rams

So between Schotty, Mulligan, and now Hunter, Sam Bradford must be planning to hang himself huh?

When you're talking about terrible though there are different degrees of terrible. There's the "OMIGOD I am so sick of seeing that horrible bust that we took #2 overall out there" and then there's the "OMIGOD that is the worst offensive lineman I have ever seen out there."

No matter how much Smith sucks for us we didn't take him #2 overall. And it's going to take awhile for the Rams fans to realize how utterly terrible Hunter actually is.

It's like letting go of the worst thing holding back your team for both franchises and getting a little cover until your fans realize you didn't improve much in the process.

 

If there is a player in the entire league who deserves sympathy, it's Sam Bradford.

Yeah but Smith is getting paid more and he's probably an objectively worse player then Hunter, which is hard to be since Hunter is so damn bad.

Smith is 26 years old and currently the highest drafted player on the Jets roster.

You can't be worse than Hunter. It's not possible in a universe bounded by the laws of physics.

Smith could be as bad as Hunter but unless he's going to turn around and blindside Sanchez himself he can't be worse.

 

Just had a peak at one of the Rams message boards, and a few of them are actually happy that they got rid of Smith for Hunter :O. One of them even said that Schotty might see something in him that the Jets don't, and that a new blocking scheme might help him. That part made me laugh.

I agree. Howard looked good and knows the plays. If Smith proves he's better than Howard over the next few weeks in practice they'll get him in there.

 

This is typical Jets. It's a PR move that doesn't actually improve the team. They got a player of equal or lesser talent whos owed MORE money. It doesn't make sense except to placate angry fans who were mad at watching Sanchez get destroyed by JPP.

 

Seriously you just can't. I've never seen someone get manhandled as badly as Hunter has this preseason. I think he's even worse than last season.

 

Used condom is worth more than WFH.
