the mod on our site said that some big news is on the way tonight so the abe deal could be it....but after a week of plot twists, i'll believe it when I see it.
The two #2 picks I can believe. A player to be named later also added to the mix, I'm having a hard time believing that, especially if it's Duckett, unless they plan to acquire another RB with that 15th pick.

I'm not claiming to believe it, just forwarding this as what if this guy could be right? I still think if it's true, you guys made out pretty darned good IMO. Duckett was one of my faves, when he's on, he's a real stud who crucifies safties and CB's when he breaks through. You should have seen him crush John Lynch in Denver in '04. That was some funny chit!
the word going around on our message board is we give you guys this year's 2nd, next year's 2nd and possibly TJ Duckett or Demorrio Williams. Im hoping its TJ because Demorrio Williams is a better player...but both are considered to be trade bait.

Duckett would be pretty nice...he just needs to be whipped in to shape...he could be a real solid pickup...and the two 2nd rounder is more than solid... I love the trade...get it done...
I'd do it if the PTBNL was Williams, but not Duckett-we don't need Duckett and he really isn't that good anyway.
TJ Duckett has shown some flashes in his young career...I would love the pick up. He would add a real physical player to this offense... How are two second rounders useless? Are you saying you would rather have Seattles 31st overall rather than the package we are getting from Atlanta? I love the deal
Demmorio doesn't fit our scheme... TJ Duckett just needs to hit the weigths and he will be a beast...I would love Duckett to be a Jet...
according to our Mod (who is an employee of the falcons), Mckay is really going after Abe hard and a deal may be announced tonight. He didnt clarify if this was news involving an abe deal, but he said that there is a good chance some big news for the falcons will be announced in the next couple of hours.
I asked this question in another thread, but why doesn't Demo fit our scheme? We already have 3 HBs on our roster. We need to address other areas, IMO.
