No, actually I think we should play the guy who has a better grasp on the playbook, so if the game starts getting away from us we can take a chance and open said playbook, rather than using just the handful of plays Sanchez will have in his repertoire. With a healthy D we have the luxury of staying with the run. But it's only the difference between one and no wins so it's really a moot point.
No I meant Smith.. when he was talking about a bad throw where the receiver stopped I had assumed he meant the one to Smith. That's my bad. The pass to Leon was a good read by Sanchez and a good throw. The pass to Smith.. not so much.
I'm glad he was named the starter. I'm typically a fan of bringing QBs along slowly, but he was better than Clemens.
By the time the season starts, Sanchez will know the playbook just as well if not better than Clemens. The guy is very professional in his study habits.
