Mrs. Hornet: Uhhhh...honey? What's wrong? Mr. Hornet: Oh, nothing, just keep going, Mrs. Hornet: Well how much longer is this gonna take? Mr. Hornet: I said just keep going! Mrs. Hornet: Don't be like that, tell me what you want? Mr. Hornet: (Beginning to weep) I just wanted that big hairy white guy...sniff
Too much discussion for Hornet of going with Strait vs. Gay... now he's getting all confused as to which one he wants to see start.
What is this going to be some special report? All I see for 5-6 on NFL Network is "Hello Rookie, Welcome to the NFL."
My biggest fear is...not the fact that Faneca might not sign...but the ripple effect it might have on other potential free agents the FO is targeting.
I'm guessing that this is just faneca saying to arizona - you have until 5:30 to make something happen if you want to give me a better deal. I highly doubt this is some premadonna, ego stroking BS. There's a good reason he's doing it. If that's the case, we probably don't have anything to worry about.
Yeah... On the other hand... Signing Faneca, and trading for K.Jenkins shows all other potential FA's that this Jets FO is SERIOUS in winning, NOW
You know Grimm and Whisenhunt are humping the Arizona mgmt's leg over this..they're probably ready to cut some of their own salary to bring Faneca to the desert..no, i'm officially nervous......this has taken too long.
It sounds like Arizona is strapped by Fitzgeralds contract though. My understanding is that they would have to work out a restructure or a trade with Fitzgerald before they could do anything with Faneca.
I agree...Fitz's contract is a deal-breaker...but the Cards have been listening to offers for him...Philly was close to making a big trade for Fitzgerald (right before the Samuel signing)...but the Cards were asking too much in return. Let's just hope Fitz stays put...
