Jets are hot stuff, offering all these guy's the vet minimum. This is a very good signing.

It's a disgrace the Ravens didn't keep their long time player for 4.5 million this year, right? How dare they.. what a low class organization.. sure he ended up signing for a quarter of that, but he was well worth that 4.5 million!!!!

Good signing but I still think our WR corp is not as strong as it was last year.

    Tone + Edwards + J-Co > Tone + Plax + Mason

    Actually No.

But let me guess. Your one of those who drinks the "Everyone wants to play for Rex" Kool Aid.

    Am I right?
    I am right aren't I

RT @caplannfl @gerrydulac: Former #Jets WR jerricho cotchery visiting with steelers at camp. Could be signed. #nyj

Interesting, it seems that the Ravens passed on him even after losing Mason.

I think it's even more interesting that the Steelers are looking to add another wideout. Aren't they pretty stacked at receiver already?

Hard to say until we know what Plax is gonna be. Also remember how poorly of a season Cotchery had due to his injury issues and being in a new role. We didn't get much out of him.

Wallace and Ward are the clear starters for Pitt

Yes, either somebody is hurt or he will be about a #4 on that team at best. (oops, I forgot Randal-El was cut)

Exactly, which makes no sense if he asked for a release because he didn't want to be the #3 wr option. Unless he just wants to go to Pitt because he feels they have a greater chance to win...which I guess I could understand.

Randle El is not needed. Both Emanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown played well for Pitt last year and either one could be the number three.

agreed, J-Co is one of my favorites, but other than the Browns game and his big catch in the AFC Championship game, he didn't do a whole lot for us. Mason would be a definite upgrade if we could assure his health/age wouldn't be an issue. Plax could potentially be an upgrade over Braylon too, especially in the red zone.

This is only considering this upcoming season though. Long term, I'd much rather have Braylon/Cotchery.

Edwards cannot stay out of trouble and may already be on the last team that will take him.

See, always some sarcastic BS... This makes no sense cause the Ravens offered him more then the Jets, then didn't offer him no BS minimum.

Shaun Ellis had 4.5 sacks last year, Derrick Mason had 800 yards receiving and 7 TDs...just saying.

It's almost like a woman leaving a guy for another man because her man wouldn't give her a ring...then the other guy gives her the "I just came out of a bad relationship,I'm just tryna take things slow" line. Everyone always thinks the grass is greener on the other side until it becomes their lawn.Let's hope the guys we let walk all have crab grass and weeds in their future.
