the jets have a rookie QB playing 2 of the best defenses in the NFL. Sanchez looked awesome against an ordinary STL defense. Stop panicking!
Hey chicken little, we aer in the game with one of the best teams in the NFC, at the two min warning of the first half. Try enjoying the game instead of bemoaning the entire season before it starts.
The D is not looking nearly as good as advertised but we aren't showing all we've got at this point, and keep in mind we're playing one of the top defenses in football. I'd still like to see some more consistent coverage though. Lito and Lowery aren't doing the job. They stay underneath Rhodes and away from Revis and we'll get nickel and dimed all the way down the field.
Can't watch the game until tomorrow, but I figured there'd be threads like this just following online. I'm not sure why anyone has ANY expectations whatsoever heading into the season. With a new head coach, rookie QB, new defensive starters, and an unproven WR corps, ANYTHING could happen and wouldn't surprise me between 4 and 12 wins. I'll wait and see what happens this season. To the OP, I mean no offense, but aren't you ALWAYS down on the team?
I totally agree that Jets fans suck, including me, but it's been going on for a long time now. I will scream my balls off almost every game this season, but deep down I hope we're good next year
first of all, anyone who thought this team was going to the SB or playoffs for that matter with a rookie HC and too many ?'s on offense was seriously dreaming. That being said, this team IN TIME is going to be a VERY GOOD team, most of the pieces are there, but it is going to take time. We need a blocking TE, O-Line depth, a big play receiver and Kerry Jenkins hasn't played a game so far, quite a few of our starters on both sides of the ball haven't been in there to start and we've been in each of these games to the end. The Jets are facing a 4 game suspension for Pace and a 1 game suspension for Ellis. Sanchez as the stater was the right choice. He has good feet, the pass protection has been poor, however, he's showed me something that tells me once he gets used to NFL speed, he's going to be an awesome QB. None of these receivers has come up big at all and that's going to be a problem for this kid. I myself do not understand why Clowney is not playing more, but I guess RR will explain that, I just don't understand it. This kid has poise, that is sorely needed in the NY market, that I don't think Clemens has, he's a class act, but I don't think Clemens will ever be a 1st string QB in this league. I have no delusions of grandeur that this team will be any more than an 8 - 8 team this year but it will come together under Ryan.

sec314 may be a downer, but he's definitely not a bandwagon fan. The guy's been a season ticket holder FOREVER. He's just reached the point at which he's fed up. I hate hearing about it, too, but that's only because I haven't reached that point. Some people fall, others don't. Still, he's a dedicated fan.

Not during preseason week 3. If anybody wants to call it quits this early, stay the fuck away during the season. It's one thing when you're bitching during the reg season.....
