No, that didn't come out of leftfield. Who the fuck said that? Rodgers is in his sixth year, third as the starter. Come on man.
Are you being serious? "What did Brady do so great last night?" That might be the funniest thing I've read all morning! Anyway... I don't think Sanchez had any issues with the weather. I think he had issues with the pressure - and I don't mean the pass rush, I mean the situation of playing in a huge game on national TV with a lot on the line. I know someone's going to respond, "Yeah but he was great in the playoffs last year," but the expectations were much higher for this game. The Jets had a pretty surreal run and I think in '09 he was riding momentum into the postseason. He's still a kid and will get better. I'm not sold on his arm just yet (the McCourty INT was an underthrown ball into the wind), but that can get better too.
Show ONE example of anyone on this board EVER saying that Sanchez is better than Rodgers at this point in their careers.
He is definitely a very bad cold weather QB. He has only had 1 good game last year (2nd game vs Cincy) of where he looked good in cold weather. The other games, his numbers are downright pathetic. He needs to improve this year in December or a lot of people will be calling for his head.
Good job using a small sample of his rookie year to determine this. Rookies have bad games in warm weather too..
yes, let's use the five or six games he has played in the last two years in cold weather to assess his ability. I still say cut him and sign Jeff George.
