If our FO thinks he'll be a franchise QB who's gonna play here for 10-15 years and think he'll lead us to a Super Bowl in the near future, then we're gonna trade w/e to trade up to the top 10 bottom line. Unless we have a historically stingy defense next year, we won't get to where we want to be without a competent QB behind center and our FO knows that
How do you ask if Sanchez is a bust, before he even plays one NFL game? The question should, instead, be posed at Kellen Clemens. He at least has a track record. I think the Jets, right now, are looking at Ratliff or nothing. That's not very encouraging. Therefore, the Jets must act to acquire a QB for insurance, even if it is insurance for next season or the season after that. Sanchez, IMO, is an opportunity that the Jets cannot pass up. There is nothing to suggest that he will be a bust. I hope the Rex and the Jets have the b*lls to pull the trigger on a trade to get him.
I just assumed people would be savvy enough to know that I mean "future" bust, "opposite of a sure thing" "bust in waiting" etc etc. that kind of thing. Since that has escaped you I have changed the title of the post to include the word "future", just for you.
personally he does not have as much upside, but I mean I think Sanchez is so much more pro ready than Stafford. I actually think he could be the better than Stafford.
