I think Rex is good but he has to take the blame for the offense being so average with all the talent they have. The best OL, one of the best receiving corps, a good backfield. All of them wasted to a large extent or not utilized to even half of their potential by Schottenmeyer. The guy is one of the most moronic OCs ever. He has not feel for the game. Doesn't attack the opponent's weaknesses. Too predictable. Since Rex is HC he has to take the blame for not taking BS to task. Rex seems to know about football. How can he tolerate such a moron running the offense?
Who gives a shit what the rest of the country and some bitter Giants fans think. I wouldn't trade Rex for any coach alive right now.
