I love Rex and fuck anybody who even thinks he is overrated. The Jets have had two of the best if not the best consecutive seasons with Rex at the helm. Fuck the haters. If there is football this year (and I hope there is) The Jets WILL dominate the NFL and all the Jets haters can suck it. The New York Fucking Jets are on the cusp (don't know if cusp is spelled right but fuck it) of greatness. Anyone who is not on board can D.I.A.F!

Yeah, RR haters really are ridiculous. Any other HC would get unanimous praise for taking his team to the AFCCG his first two seasons with a rookie/sophomore QB. Other fans hate RR's bravado... fuck 'em.

Right now no he not overrated, but if he keeps doing what he doing he will be known as the hc who can't win the big one.

And he's too small to make a good wide receiver.

I don't think so. Brought the Jets to the AFC championship game 2 years in a row with an inexperienced quarterback, also has the charisma and personality to handle the new york media. Seems like a perfect fit to me and will only get better

20-12 record, 4-1 in playoffs - all road games. Consecutive AFCCG's in both years. Off to a good start, I'd say. Now let's get a goddamn snack.

I don't think it's football knowledge. People are voting with hearts instead of heads.

I've said it before... Ryan is similar to players like Rodney Harrison. If he's on your team, if he's your guy, you love him. If he's not, you hate him. It's not really any more complicated than that.

Same thing goes for Belichick, for the most part.

As a Patriots fan, I have a healthy respect for Rex though. And despite all the bravado, he's always gone out of his way to say what a great coach Belichick is, and what a great QB Brady is. I think he handles that part of the rivalry really well.

Well said, except the media loves Bellicheck and Rex for very different reasons.

They love Bellicheck as the "mastermind" type of guy that can do no wrong, while with Rex its tons of quote worthy lines, and not necessary directly his football prowess.

I'll ask you this though: Have you heard anyone make news recently for talking about ACTUALLY PLAYING football this season? No. 99% of football coverage is about the stupid lockout. At least Rex burst through with a proclamation about how his team will play instead of bullshit back and forth about the CBA. That is why I like the guy.
