yes. he wants to win SBs so bad he cheats

but I do think he cares about individual milestones as well. they don't have to be exclusive concepts. and judging by his little email that got released he definitely has a personal desire to measure himself against Manning.

It's a difference in opinion really. I'm the type of person who believes that legends should garner enough respect that if they can still find a job they deserve to play.

While somewhat of a douchebag I was rooting for Alex Rodriguez to come back and have a great season because I know how much he loves the game. Similarly for Peyton Manning but he happens to not be a douchebag.

I understand the logic of wanting these guys to retire on top though.

It'll be interesting to see how he does with his playmakers banged up.

Brady just needs to make up those 3 seasons on Peyton at his current pace to be sniffing around most of his records if not beyond a fewe of them (career wins) and as said before he hasn't broken his neck, lost feeling in one of his hands and seems to be living an uber-healthy lifestyle in a very steady playing environment.

Part of me was actually hoping the Pats would go unbeaten this year, get their 5th title and then maybe TB would call it a day. He's well capable of playing on for many a year and those who can remember our last divisional title will be thin on the ground.

Part of me was hoping Tom Brady would break every record in the book while winning his tenth championship.

    Flush.

Manning only has 2 years league tenure on Br*dy...and Manning is missing a large part of this year with injury.
even if you count it as 3, you think Br*dy will be throwing for 500+ completions, over 5000 yds, and over 40 TD's a year from now into his 40's?

nah you aren't a closet P*ts fan or anything.
your last paragraph is pathetic. let's just wish Kraft another 5 titles, and then elect him President as well.

personally i'd rather see them fail, and then watch Br*dy decide if he wants to retire or face the pending suspension the league will hand down this offseason.

winning another Super Bowl is exactly about him wanting to hit an individual milestone...
    you just said it yourself.
he wants people to say he's "won" more Super Bowls than any QB.

wanting to play until 45 is about one thing.....ego and individual accomplishments.
he wants to catch up to Manning, or least be able to boast about Super Bowls, even tho that's a team accomplishment..

3 years, TB sat behind Bledsoe his first year out and both have had a years vacation with injuries.

I agree that it'd be great to see him age over the course of a weekend, watch them finally get unlucky with their draft picks and signings and for us to get a divisional title or a few sweeps over them............I just don't honestly see it happening short of Petty being the next Marino.

I might be impatient but I'd rather this was his last season (even if it required them to go 18-0 and win their fifth) so I don't have to wait till 2020 to see us in the playoffs at Metlife!
