I know that that's not the "Tannenbaum Way", which would be to ignore the problem in order chase big names and the publicity they bring, but that's how most competent GMs "think" about things like that: you have a big stinking pile of crap at a position, you look to find somebody better in FA or in the draft so you can shovel the shit out.

Martin is going to be a shitty RT if that's truly their plan. The guy isn't strong enough or a solid enough run blocker to play RT. He's a good smart pass blocker and should play LT in the NFL, regardless of Miami's plans.

Tannenbaum has drafted well for the most part and build a contending team, since he took over in '06 we have been out of the playoff race like Buffalo just once(2007) and we've been to 2 title games. That's not quite Buddy Nix like but we're doing ok.
