I normally do not this but everyone of your posts is negative! Brett Farve has earned the right to start the last 16 years. Its just like picking up a new bike. You still know how to ride it , your just not sure it can support the old tricks you did on your last one. The Farve experiment ends when Farve say it does and I dont see him pulling a Lou holtz on us so dig in baby the rides about to start!

Favre has completed 69% of his passes and has a TD every 16 throws, wtf, what more do you want?

I don't believe Favre is afraid of anything on the football field.

He probably isn't playing with as much confidence as he's used to, not knowing the playbook like the back of his hand.

Looked like the pocket was slowly collapsing on him each time so he really had no choice but to stand firm and fire off his back foot. We looked fuckin terrible on offense today. Hope that never happens again.

That happens sometimes when it's 3rd and 20.

I still for the life of me do not know why he wasn't flagged for taunting. It was going to be a hand off to get a little room and the platy got blown up.

Nah, I say positive things. I like Stuckey! He's impressed me. And it's nice to see that B. Thomas is playing football again.

I didn't watch many GB games, but my understanding of the game is that a QB steps into a throw for best results and it seemed to me that Favre was basically throwing off his back foot a high % of the time on Sunday. Just making an observation.

I wont more than 10 points! I don't want him to throw that INT when we needed a TD drive. Completed % means nothing to me. Heck Chad P has the highest comp % in the NFL... WOOOPADIDOOO!!!! Why did we get Favre, to score 10 points?

This is actually a great call out on Favre.

Not a great call out, for the last 16 years in GB he throws off his back foot and now when he's 39 in a month he is supposed to change? Has always thrown off his back foot and for 38 miles of NFL passing yards and a future trip to Canton.

In two games he has thrown 48 passes and that is 384 for the season. In 1992 when the streak began he started 13 games and threw 471 times. Every year but one other years he is way in the 500s. That my friends is 8-10 more passes per game.

If you want Favre to win games, well he can't run it in, so let him throw.

    Good point

The Patriots do not really "speed rush" but collapse the pocket. Plus those guys are rather BIG. Also, the Pats play to limit the big play so you have to take what's offered.

Say what you want but he did NOT look comfortable back there on Sunday. He looked jumpy and not confident. Perhaps we need to move the pocket a little bit and give him some room. After all he makes his best plays when he's out of the pocket.

One obvious point that really hasn't been mentioned much is that the Patriots have a pretty damn good defense. The Patriots defense has a way of bringing out the worst in offenses. Favre's numbers Sunday weren't any worse than practically all of the better QB's who faced the Patriots last year.

    Favre Sunday 18/26 181yds 1 td 1 int 85.6 rating

    2007 QB's vs Pats

    P. Manning 16/27 225 yds. 1 td 1 int 83.1 rating
    P. Rivers 19/30 179 yds 2td 2int 74.2 rating
    C Palmer 21/35 234 yds 1 td 2 int 65.7 rating
    B. Roethlisberger 19/32 187 1td 86.3 rating
