Shouldn't you be creating a thread about it? IDK, but if we can land Marshall with our 2nd rounder, I don't think I'd be pissed at all though.
I think Denver would be out of their minds to trade Marshall for a 2nd rounder. However seeing that their QB situation sucks, Clemens + a 2nd rounder for Marshall. Lets make it happen (ok im mostly dreaming on this one). I really dont think Denver will have a hard time getting a first rounder though. I mean after Dez Bryant(who marshall probably is better than), Marshall becomes the best wr on the table.
Really our 1st pick is pretty much an early second round pick. I could understand if we had the top 20 pick in the draft but we don't..Who would you pick up that will have more value than Brandon Marshall? If we can get Marshall get him...trade Rhodes to Arizona for a 3rd round pick....pick up Antrel Rolle and being that we just acquired Cromartie, I am confident we are set for the future.
The Jets had a pretty crappy 3rd down % last year, and a large part of that is because we only have 2 wrs. I mean 3rd and 4th and short we rocked because of our oline/ground game. But 3rd and long Braylon just gets smothered and it really limits Sanchezs options. Which is why most analyst have the jets picking either a WR or a CB in the first. And being that we just got Cromartie I think youre going to hear a lot of talk about the jets going for Marshall or drafting a wr in the first.

This is for your response that WR is not a Jets need. Marshall automatically becomes best WR on team & for that ....you go & get a player like that.
