Is a trade up inevitable?

  1. w/ 5 picks on day 1, we'd be wise to sit where we are and take the BPA at every single spot. Thise is how you build a foundation instilled w/ talent and depth.

I dont think we should trade up, we have a nice amount of picks which could help to fill some of our needs and add depth.

The dream scenarion, and I wouldn't count it out either, is the following.

Trade #4 for the Raiders #7 and #40(?). Not sure if they would do this, but Al Davis is known to covet certain players.

Trade #7 for the Broncos #15 and #22. This is a team that thinks it's 1-2 players away from a superbowl.

    We'd have...

    1st - 15, 22, 29
    2nd - 35, 40(?)
    3rd - 68(?), 97(?)

I know it's far fetched, but if it happened to possibilities would be endless.

I hope that doesn't happen. I wouldn't care at all signing 7 rookies from the first 4 rounds...we need the first rounders for mangold.

Not as farfetched as you may think... If Mario Williams is on the board at 4 I'm sure the Broncos would be willing to trade 15,22, and a a pick or 2 next year for him.

Of course thats not what I want... I would prefer to give our team a huge [IMG]
