300%. These guys seem like smart dudes who know to build the foundation first. Without a line and a decent QB, it's not worth spending that money on a WR. Our the cap money into the line, the defensive backfield, and whatever else fills the bare cupboard. Use the draft to get a WR. As good as DT is, the rules in the NFL are extremely favorable to the offense, and it should be somewhat easy to get a good WR and develop him. No need to spend that kind of dough.

If we get DT we would have the best WR core in the league!

Maybe Manning wants to play in the same city as his bro and with those receivers too!

    LOL Pipe Dream.

I'd still rather Julius Thomas to pair with Amaro.

Probably not, but they also have Julius Thomas, Rahim Moore, and possibly a number of other team FAs to sign, as well as draft picks. 25 million isn't that much, especially if Thomas takes $12-15 million of that, that won't leave much for others.

Julius Thomas is as good as gone. He's asking for top TE money. Denver can just sign Gresham or Cameron for cheaper or draft someone like Maxx Williams or Nick O'Leary.

He's basically a a red zone weapon -- albeit an elite one -- with an inflated TD total thanks to Peyton.

Of course I would take him. but the guy is looking for jimmy graham money.

Some team is gonna overpay. I hope it's not us.

The smart move would be to go after Jordan Cameron or Charles Clay.

    Probably. Denver isn't dumb.

I strongly disagree on Gresham ( plodding stiff with stone hands).

But if you put Charles Clay in that offense, with Peyton throwing those accurate short to intermediate ducks, I think he'd be a lock for 80 catches and 10 TDs.

Also a good suggestion. Forgot Clay was a free agent.
