Our season will probably come down to the Steelers losing to Cleveland and/or Indy losing to KC. Both unlikely.

Thank the colts if thats true. If the Colts keep winning, our SOV gets stronger.

So go Phins, Bills, Colts Jags, Cards, rams

totally...and one of those need to not come to PITT IMO...Best case Cincy ends up losing tonight and pitt loses this week then PITT beats Cincy.

You keep saying that, but in that scenario, Cincy comes out on top on SOV because they beat Steelers (7-6) and Ravens (9-4). Whereas the Jets beat the Titans (4-9), Chargers (5-8) and Bills (5-8). They're actually ahead.

It's close enough that it depends on all the other games that affect our SOV. You can get it to a point where the Rams-Seahawks game ends up causing us to either being in or out of the playoffs.

Simple experiment, give wins to the Rams and Cardinals, losses to Redskins and Giants. Do enough of those and you'll see the Jets in.

Ok Bengals SOV wins...Browns, Redskins, Giants, Chiefs, Raiders, Eagles, Steelers(They need to win against Pitt for Jets sake.

Jets SOV Dolphins, Bills, Bills, Titans, Colts, Rams, Cardinals

7 wins each, not counting jags or chargers cuz we assume both teams beat em. Someone do the math and find out how many wins each of those teams above have.

So, since the Bengals have this game wrapped up, how does it look for the Jets from this point forward? Do scenarios change?

They would have to lose to the Ravens, which means beating the Steelers.

36 SOV wins for Bengals atm

vs 38.5 SOV wins for the Jets. So yes atm we have the SOV.

So basically cheer for every team the jets have beat, i will lmao if that rams tie is the difference.

In the History of this planet, and the 7 planets before us, the NY Jets have never lost out due to the 'quality play' of the Bungles.

Thank god the Bungles are one of the teams between us and the promise land.

Well on the brightside, the Bengals should be feeling confident heading into Sunday.

With that said....Jets must officially win out. Bengals and Pitt play so either Pitt gets 8 wins or Bengals get 9. A tie would be huge but im not going there.

Here's how we can get in. We have to win out, so that's assumed.

Now, if the Colts lose all three of their games then we're in.

If the Steelers lose to Dallas and Cleveland, but beat Cincy, we're in.

If the Bengals beat the Steelers and lose to the Ravens, we're in.

I think that's pretty much how it's going to have to end up.
