Im so glad that the new coaches think Revis can "make a smooth transition to safety "

I thought it was his allergy to the washing detergent they use to clean the unis after a game..

I thought it was his allergy to those little rubber pellets they put under field turf to simulate dirt.

I agree with ppl who say cut him.

Why should the Jets worry about extending the career of an overpaid, under-performing DB? Just cut him and get younger. If Gilchrist's shredded knee requires him to retire, then look to the Draft or find a young FA, but please don't sign up for a 30 something has been at FS.

Revis Island will have to be renamed Thousand Island due to the number of passes our secondary will give up.

It would be almost impossible to replace last year's Revis. Anyone you sign to replace him will have a very difficult time trying to play that poorly!

I love the excuses for Revis playing so poorly. He had a nagging injury all season. I remember the excuses in 15 when he was repeatedly burned by young reci
True but we already have Skrine under contract.

    Lay off the kid, man.

Life is hard - and harder if one happens to be stupid. [First-hand experience tells me it's very hard.]

Ah yes. Love the idea of paying our dirtbag overpaid locker room cancer $10 million a year player that doesn't like to tackle, to try out a new position that is the last line of defense.

Good thing tackling isn't a crucial trait for a free safety to have. Oh wait...
