As much as I dont want to see Moore get dumped, I am wondering to myself maybe our FO is looking at it this way: We pay BM his bonus this year, and the next couple years, we get off easy. Or do we? He plays well this year, then early next year pulls a PK stunt, because his base pay is low. I want a new contract, more money,blah-blah-blah, sound familiar?? So instead of (1) paying out the money, (2) losing the player, then (3) coughing up more money for a replacement, they will scratch items 1 & 2 now and just do item 3 right now. And if they grab Brown as a replacement, I'll have no problem with this move.
