The new website is ok I am not really impressed. Can any one tell me how you get here from the new site? In the new fanzone they appeared to have eliminated all links except official "Jets links", Sean Elllis, Mike Negent and Joe Namath. The Gang Green is not listed, I think the elimination of Fan Driven is a poor decision.
Nice, nice, nice, its about freakin time.... It is awesome, I love it....did you watch the video? JetsTv feature....does that mean Sowell Train might be in for some copyright infringement? He'll have to call it something different on his site. But anyways, the new jets site is wicked, it's up there with the rest of the league, I am definitely happy about it, and the best part is that Vilma said "we listened to your suggestions" By the way Vilma's the man.
If you collect enough GangGreen Bucks you can go there and buy some beer  Nothing annoys me more than to go to a website and have flashing advertisements thrown in my face; it immediately turns me off...
This site should not have launched yet. I can't get the video to play on my machine, they have script errors with the flash, my Jets bar is blank and the flash header at the top is huge in file size. They should have done some QA before launching this. Embarrassing
Anyone who thinks that's awful, must've never saw the original site. Atleast it looks like someone put effort into it. It could be improved, but it's a simple and clean design unlike the last.
Everything works. I think your computer sucks. My thoughts are that the "Jets Bar" is going to be a ticker. Except there really isn't any news to stick up there yet, and they might have not gotten around to finishing that part yet.
is going to be a ticker.... then maybe they shouldn't have launched, don't you think? I just tried to send them feedback and received an application error... how fitting.
it's very slow on my Mac and some Flash fonts are messed up on Mac as well I am a well-known Mac hater but sites like that one should work fine on all platforms.
Yes, you are right. My computer sucks. Great technical answer. I am sure I have no idea what a good computer would be. I only have a mac and PC and got similar errors on both. But in your infinite wisdom you answered all of the issues with "your computer sucks". Idiot.
The IS awful, because it is not ready. They weren't prepared to launch today. Any website group worth anything wouldn't have launched without proper testing. They weren't ready. It is a bad reflection on the organization as a whole. It may seem small, but good companies wouldn't allow things like thes to happen. In some of the agencies I have worked for, this would be grounds for dismissal.
Since you wanted to jump to name calling, because I just gave a basic opinion on why likely you are having so many issues, I think you're an F'n idiot for acting like you understand and know about programming. Do you realize how many damn issues can pop up even after testing. The littlest thing could cause an entire program to not work at all, let alone have some small errors. I'd imagine the site will be cleaned up by the end of next week, with any other lingering problems cleaned up as they go, considering how hard it is to fix errors in the first place. Hell errors can pop up on any site anytime anything is added to it. The site works fine for me, probably a bit due to the fact I put together a new laptop last year and upgraded a few bit parts this year, along with keeping it cleaned out and all firmware updated. Yeah I'm sure I could still run into an issue or two, but it's a team website. Do you honestly really care that much. It's the first day since it the redesign was put up for anyone to see, with likely almost an infinite amount of different computer set-ups accessing the site. Take the stick out of your ass and insert it in your mouth. I may not think the site is amazing, because it isn't, but it's an effort, and is headed in the right direction. It is lightyears ahead of the old design, and has attempted to keep up with the new age of website design.
Well, your computer seems to be the only one where it has errors. Mine looks completely finished. There are going to be a few bugs, as there are with everything. It's a team website, and it's not really a bad reflection on the company because I doubt anyones going to give up season tickets over the website. They aren't losing anything by putting it up with a few bugs. They are just showing that they are atleast giving effort to improve it.
I love how they're celebrating it like they've just created the greatest website in the world. Jay Cross's message is like, check out our new and improved website. It still sucks, there's nothing there.
Listen ass clown, I have been doing this for 10 years, so I think I understand the point of testing and what can go wrong. If you simulate a proper testing environment you would avoid simple issues like errors with most of your flash or something simple like email not working. A bug is one thing that happens, multiple errors and slow load time come from poor project management. So if you are comfortable launching it this way it shows what kind of level you work at, which seems fairly low. I DO care that much, because this IS what I do for a living, this IS what I care about. It is an embarrassment, plain and simple and shouldn't have launched. I am sure these bugs will be worked out in time, but it shows a major lack of respect for your brand to allow the public to see it this way. And the time for an "effort" was years ago, we are at a point where the Broncos site and the Cowboys site have taken these team sites from simple points of information into completely online communties where you can learn things about the team that you can get no where else. This site on the other hand seems more content with just providing additional ad space for the team to generate revenue rather than improve the online experience. And if you don't care that much about this topic, then don't post anything in a thread that speaks about it. .. oh yeah, I forgot... f your mom!
