    I said I'd root for the Jets but now I'd have a secondary team to root for. I already said I wouldn't root for the Patriots or Dolphins. Giants originally at first but I changed my mine.

    I already said before I like the Saints. And this was way before they beat us in Week 4

    I guess I'm now considered a traitor..then so be it. I can't get back on the gang green's good side regardless even tho I said I wouldn't root for the Patriots or Dolphins and even the Giants

    the issue isn't that you aren't rooting for a specific opponent, it is that you are rooting for a team other than the Jets in general. either you are a Jets fan primarily, and don't take solace in the success of other teams, or you aren't.

    He should be forced to have some distinguishing feature that allows new members to know he'a a traitor.... sorta like the Scarlett Letter.

    Probably the worst thing to happen on a message board is when some nobody lurches from the shadows to announce that he's leaving. Without fail, the opinion is 50% "Who are you?" followed by 50% "You're a dick/pussy/fag/etc."
