Chad will never lead this team to the Super Bowl

It is time to make a move now.

He just is not the guy.

He is too soft, always throws balls high and never is able to feel the pressure.

If we run the table, Cinn will get in and Jacksonville will beat us out because of the tie breaker.

    Thanks Chadwick.

Im not a Chad supporter, nor am I a Chad hater. However both sides are ridiculous, some think hes great(hes not) others think hes horrible(hes our best chance at making a playoff run).

I thought of it. Then I dismissed it because with the different schemes we've seen this year, I can't for the life of me imagine why the CS would not try to stretch the field if they thought we were capable of doing it. Like Nugent early in the year, CS has no faith in Chads long range capabilities.

It would be great to make the playoffs this year, but I strongly feel this just is not our year anyway. We are having HUGE improvement from this season, and that will only benefit us more next season. The Jets lost today, not Penny. It is pointless to bitch and moan about it, regardless of what the right is. Penny will be the QB for atleast the rest of the season. No matter what happens with the remaining schedule. Get over it, we can still turn this around. I have faith they will, they just need to regroup and focus. Although this is very typical Jets fashion. I dont know why so many seemed so surprised?

    1) Another big game with major rammifications, and guess who stands out as the loser? (the D was terrible, but still, Pennington wet the bed.)

    2) I also questioned the playcalling, but then I thought: hmm, not one deep pass attempt; is this Schottenheimer's fault, or is this a direct result of the QB -- why take a chance deep if you know your QB can't throw deep?

    3) Pennington cannot come back, plain and simple. If there's no running game, no play-action, we don't have a QB that can lead us back.

i'll repeat, i blame the D for playing horrendously; but once again, in a very meaningful game, look who doesn't show up on Offense -- Chad.

    cheers

$9,000,000 is NOT hardly making anything.

Well, the point is IF Chad is not the man. We should take look at replacement. We have 3 gamee left. Say, play Chad, we win 2 out 3 and play Clemens, we lost all. What is the difference? I have a better draft position for April.

Last week I said I was cautiously optimistic because it looked like he was getting better despite his mediocre performance in New England and horrible against the Bears. It looked like he was improving. Obviously bashing him would have made no sense after Texans and Packers, but I came nowhere near riding his dick like half the people here.

Pennington sucked, so did the defense, and so did the playcalling. I can't remember a pass call on a Jet first or second down. This was the most predictable Jets offense I've seen since the good ol' Hackett days. Yes, Chad was awful, once again. But don't try to pin this loss solely on him.

You don't play for a draft pick. Pennington obviously gives us the best chance to win THIS YEAR, but for the future, we HAVE to look elsewhere, otherwise we're the Same Old Jets.

You could not have said it better.

I am so supprised that there are fans that don't realzie this guy will neve win a Super Bowl because he just does not have it.

He throws high, throws floaters instead of drilling spirals, and he cannot feel the pressure.

I am so sick of him and the fans that support this faggot.

Chawick is the 21 best QB in the league and that does not mean playoffs, let alone Super Bowl.

I have been a big Chad fan so far.. After today's game, no more. He is NOT the answer to this team. We need to look for alternatives for next season

and that's the point the Chad lover's won't accept...

along with how he only plays well against crappy Defenses.

"why don't you bash him after good games?"

hmm, let's see: if I bashed Chad after the Packers game, i'd get ripped; when i don't outwardly bash him (yet admit my reluctance to praise him) i get ripped. when i bas him after a sh*tty performance, i get ripped. damned if i do, damned if i don't.

bottom line: Chad loses in big games against half-decent Defenses, be it the Front 7 or the Secondary.

and please, the 2002 Colts game is irrelevant right now, as is the the 2004 San Diego game.

    cheers

Agreed. This was a total team loss. It seemed like the coaching staff was trying to force feed the ball to Houston when Washington was having great success. It's not solely on Chad (the OL didn't distinguish themselves), but he had another bad game. The defense couldn't stop the big play either.
