Ok, I was playing Sherlock Holmes and coming up with Professor Plum with the lead pipe in the conservatory  Welcome to TGG by the way
Thanks very much, man. I should get rolling pretty soon. I just need to get to the 50 post mark to be able to showcase a young lady or two. Have an awesome day.
Thomas really took a step back this year, but that had a lot to do with how he was used in NE, him and belichick never really got along either. Reuniting him with Ryan could rejuvenate him, and with the restrictions on who we can sign, not many better options are gonna be available.
Thomas is not a dream team player at this point. It's not 3 years ago when he signed with the Pats, he played poorly last year and was benched at many times. If he gets cut he will sign a relatively cheap contract. Aso another story, be shocked if he is actually traded and is just something fun to talk about with not much else going on.
Give him a workout. He could be decent depth and he is not going to command a huge amount of cash. Not after doing nothing on the Patriots for two years and then getting benched and cut. He would be decent as a rotational guy, but nothing more. If he gets a starting job, it is going to be for a desperate defense.
Hypothetical: Thomas is cut. Jets pick up Thomas and cut Gholston. Belichick signs Gholston to a much lowered contract and he plays like a beast while Thomas gets hurt.. This is my greatest fear.
Of course any player that goes to the Pats will be a beast. Stop fearing the Pasts. They need to fear us.
if rex couldn't get the inner beast out of gholston, how in the hell is the reserved bill belicheat gonna do it? didn't people have the same fears of that happening when they signed victor hobson? how'd that turn out for them?
