ionno, what Cutler did playing for Vanderbilt is impressive, forget his record thats just what makes Leinart a good prospect so its easy to point to that for Cutler. Especially since the defenses in the SEC are far better than those in the Pac-10 but Cutler might end up being a workout warrior so who knows, im dicey on all 3.
Leinart is so much like Brady it's almost eerie. Mangini might not be able to resist doing what it takes to get him. Not my favorite move, but I could live with it.
I know some posters have brought up the idea of targeting Quinn next year. This is the most appealing future qb as far as I'm concerned. Has anyone else noticed that Weiss is pretty amazing at developing quarterbacks...even old ones:wink:
I'm pointing out that a score that historically low is a warning sign. He'd have to learn a much more complicated offense on a pro level.
A guy with a goofy delivery, and suspect intelligence coming from a simple offensive scheme is someone who makes me leery.
I don't put alot of stock in those tests, but the fact that Young has been reported to have scored that low does send up a red flag. I'm still not sure about the facts there though
all i know he steps up and makes big plays in big games. i cant even say this about peyton manning. (and no he isnt better or close to manning)
leinarts the best quarterback there but hes not worth it for abe. We already got the number 4 pick and its not worth trading abe to get number 1. Houston wont take leinart in the first place. They need reggie bush or d'brick
We'll see how it shakes out in the coming season. I just hope that its with the Titans and not the Jets.
I agree with you, but I would be surprised if the Jets don't have a vey good draft pick next year. Hope I'm wrong
i think thats the best ive heard it put so far.....i still would rather trade down, but if youre gonna trade up for a qb its gotts be leinart
leinart also has showed on many occassions(especially at notre dame) that he can step up witht he game on the line and deliver
