Man I still have yet to see this supposedly big arm everyone and their mother says Sanchez has. I hope I see it against Oakland this weekend, or else I'm never going to buy what anybody says about arm strength until I see someone play with my own eyes.

Well, actually, that's not entirely true. I know I've seen Sanchez throw a few good passes this year with velocity, but he has had no consistency with it. Chad Pennington was able to wing it occasionally too, especially early on in a season before his arm would get shot every time too. I hope that Sanchez becomes more consistent and that I never have to bring up Penny in the same paragraph as him again.

Didn't Kerry Collins take the Giants to the SB, play for Penn State and come from PA? He went 2 for 12 for minus 7 yards in Foxboro on Sunday.

Maybe the weather had nothing to do with it? Maybe it was a vitamin D deficency playing after 4PM with cloud cover?

He's a rookie. He's No. 1 WR was out, he's no. 2 guy has been on the team 10 days Keller has been taken out by opposing D's the last 3 weeks.

This pussey armed flak who can't play in the North East is going to be our starting QB for the next 10 years. Start enjoying watching him develop.

Rex should have pulled him. He lost the game by himself

Plus Eli, who won with the Giants in the Super Bowl, gets owned by the wind at the Meadowlands. Some people constantly look for something to complain about. Of course these same complainers know more about football than Rex and Shotty.

Gloating? You are a funny guy!

I didn't bother to read much of this drivel, but thanks, that old post did make me laugh again. I notice you didn't bother to quote the things you said that prompted that response! LOL... it was very much like the nonsense you posted in this thread. I just wanted to piss you off, and apparently that woked out pretty well! LMAO.

Internet tough guys always make me laugh! Now, go take your nap. play time is over!

I can't believe all the back trackers and non supporters of Sanchez.

It's flat out stupid. He has a bad game against maybe NFL's best team, and has a horrible game against the Bills.

Learning to play their takes time, 1 quarter of play in that wind is not enough.
If some of you supposed Jet fans step back and take a look at his work as a whole he has played great for a rookie.

Some games it's the Sanchize and now after the Bills game he's a bust, that's a flat out joke. Mark is our QB and I can't wait for him to prove a lot of you wrong. Typical SOJ fans though, why support him when you can tear him down. Of course you'll have to greet him with resounding boos against Miami, that home town support should help, just like the Pats game.

Most of you can fuck off!!!

Besides all that, next year we open a much larger stadium and have heard the wind will be no where near as bad as the current stadium.

Another absolutely clueless post about everything Mark Sanchez is NOT. Congratulations. You know nothing about the guy.

Do you base everything you say on assumption and your own slanted view of the facts? I'm not the one who pissed you off in that thread. That would be JTuds. In fact, here's what I said when you said you were about to go off:

Nice try making me the scapegoat for everything wrong with TGG, but you may want to try to be informed next time before you level accusations. Feel free to continue attempting to antagonize me. I actually love it. It's fun pointing out how wrong people are when they say idiotic things on this board.

I notice you didn't bother to respond to anything in the post. I'll take that as your white flag. Now go gloat some more that our QB laid an egg. The girls are talking, and you may earn a cootie reprieve. Just need to impress them a little more with your smug emo celebration of self-destruction.

I was a day where very few QB's would want to throw let alone one who is still inexperienced . We had the run and it was working and then we got away from it; that is primarily why we lost.

Just heard on WQAM that the Dolphins and Chiefs are close to a deal that would send Dwayne Bowe, and Glenn Dorsey to Miami for 3 undisclosed draft pics. I also heard that Miami and Carolina are also in talks to send WR Steve Smith to Miami, but Miami it waiting to see which deal will better serve the team. So, expect one of these deals to be announced sometime today before the deadline.

We shall all know the answer at 4:00 PM today. Go Fins!!!!

Ugh, you are exactly the problem. People like you that hype this team up to ridiculous levels that they shouldn't be hyped to.

Sanchez has not been "great" as a rookie. He has been a mediocre to bad rookie at best so far, "great" rookie QBs do not throw 5 INTs in one game and turn the ball over 9 times total in a 3 game stretch.

Jets fans are so ridiculous with their extremes. Half the damn fanbase thinks he should be cut 6 games into his NFL career, the other half thinks somehow he's proven himself to be a HOF QB already. Why does this fanbase seemingly have no ability to have a moderate view?

Sanchez was awful. He's still young. Young rookie QBs need time to develop and you start them until it's obvious they can no longer learn anything by playing and need some time off. Guess what, the bye is in Week 9 this year. All Sanchez has to do is hang in there for 3 more games and then he can get that week off to readjust. Another 5 INT game against the Raiders though, and he won't make it. But if he averages about 2 INTs in the next 3 games? That's okay. Especially if he can average at least 1 TD, preferably around 1.5 TDs a game in that stretch.

Again, Sanchez was fucking awful. You absolutely can not spin that away. The coaching is also terrible. I have a feeling Schotty is getting a talking to. I also think the Jets should trade TJ, especially because of that huge game. Trade him to Mangini for a 2nd, and start Shonn Greene. Let the young group gel. Cotchery will probably be back so that will help too. Keller is still very young as well, and Braylon is young too actually, but he's new to the team so that will take time to gel too. The Jets skill players are all very young, the O-line will last a few years yet but needs to get depth through the draft, and then the Jets will probably be fine.

Unless Sanchez really can't throw in the wind, in which case it's hopeless. Gotta keep an eye out on that, but we'll find out, I guarantee you this, within the month.

    okay buddy-

I'm not reading all of that because I know I'll disagree.

Mark has been great for a Rookie. Minus 2 games.

People like you suck, all you bring to the table is the same ole complaints and its boring and tiresome.

Believe whatever you want and I'll have my own opinion. Thanks Tiger!!

Sanchez has been great. Houston game 13 first downs passing 7 Rushing. The guy was brilliant in third down and kept drive after drive moving.

Pats game 14 for 22 10 first downs passing 4 rushing. Trailing to open the 3rd quarter 43 yards to Cotch, Jones 2 yards, 9 yard TD to Keller game over.

The Miami game he was brilliant. Those were three games were Mark carried the O. He stunk against Buffalo but he still got the team in position to win the game and other guys self destructed. He was bad against Buffalo but that was a team effort of bad.

If Sanchez is ever going to be great he has to experience the good, the bad, and the ugly. I think he has tasted all of them at this point and I think he has the mental wherewithall to pull through this. I don't think we go 10-0 the rest of the season, but we are not done yet.

IMO, what happened to Jenkins will test the medal of our coaching staff. I am sad Jenkins is lost for the year, but these things happen in football; we have seen it over and over. Remember the 2005 Jets?

    poor judgement

there are very few q.b.s. that could throw in that type of wind and rain.it was just poor judgement by the offensive coaches and the head coach.an experienced head coach.would have seen the problem and would have made the adjustments.

I love when pats fans talk shit about Mark Sanchez being from Cali. They were pretty happy with Matt Cassel last year. What school did he go to again?

When the Jets went to the AFC Championship game in 1982 Joe Klecko went down for the season in Week 2.
