you guys realize the Saints sucked last year also.. They are both doing a fantastic job with there respective teams and are both deserving of the award.. But to say Mangini clearly deserves it over Payton is homerism at its finest.
Agreed, but i honestly believe that Mangini deserves it slightly more than Payton right now, but that may change as the season goes on
I feel it is the complete opposite, Payton deserves it more right now because he is 8-5 and in first place.. but like you said, that may change as the season goes on..
I hate to say it, but there's going to be a bias toward Payton because of the whole Hurricane Katrina thing. The comeback of the city of NO is going to be the comeback of this century, period! Having said that, if the NY Jets get into the playoffs, how can you not give it to Eric Mangini?
sean payton will get it, unfortunatly. you know, he turned around the bad team...and the whole hurricane sympathy thing..(im sorry but ESPN milks it!) mangini will be a close second.
