Drops suck but they happen. I cant say we would have won if the ball was caught though. Too many variables.

    BTW

Anyone notice every since Holmes isn’t starting the WRs are creating space and getting open? We cut that cancer out and now we are a better team. Sad but true. Don’t bring Holmes back.

Or the overtime fumble happens two plays later and we lose that way. The drop hurt but its too hard to say "it was all this drop". He wasn't in the endzone.

I'd prefer that Hill catch it just once.

I hope has a great game against the Dolphins, it will show a lot. He is much better than Justin Blackmon though, he can't separate or catch the ball.

If the clock operator stopped the clock at the 2 minute warning, like he should've the game could've been entirely different as well. That extra timeout was HUGE.

In addition to that, it's almost impossible to think that if Hill made that catch we "possibly" would've won. We almost certainly would've won because the Pats simply didn't have enough time outs and it would've been a chip shot field goal. So saying "possibly" is just not true.

crap - it looks worse today.

looks like he wanted to break it to the inside and may have gotten close to the EZ

Not as bad as the Stevie Johnson drops though.

shit looking at that clip - he definitely was gonna break it to the inside.....

if he was going to break outside he likely catches it as the ball hits off his left front shoulder/chest.

    unreal

I blame Sanchez for that drop.

Hill obviously was expecting the pass to be down around his ankles or way over his head.

You can see him looking to his right before the ball was in his hands. Big time rookie mistake. Hand-eye coordination doesn't work too well if you're not looking at the object.

LOL. Some jackhole will be showing up to tell us that it was Sanchez's fault in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

That was an easy catch. He just got ahead of himself and thought about running it in before it was secure. He turned his head and didn't focus on the ball. It's a common rookie mistake. He'll get better.

    Nah, not even close.

After a night's sleep, and all my friends here ragging onbme like the Eagles are doing shit, Im starting to question why Hill was even the target in that situation.

I mean... how many drops did Hill have in the preseason. And in the Steelers game? Or was that the Dolphins game?

I mean 50 yards away with our only hope being a jump ball in the end zone, sure through it to hill.

But third and 5 in the fourth quarter? I'd go to Keller, Schillenz, Kerley, really anybody over than a rookie that everybody in the tri-state knows drops balls.

Its not Hills fault, dude shouldn't even have been out there.

I like Hill but that pretty much cost us the game, at least as much as the Sanchez fumble anyway. If he catches that even if he doesn't get the TD we still have a shot at the TD or at least burn time (or Pats timeouts) off the clock and just kick the FG. I get that he was trying to maximize his yards after the catch and maybe get a TD but catch it first.

I hope he has a good game next week, he's going to have to make up for that one in my books.

    He scores. Game over.

But...that having been said....hill/Keller/Kerley is starting to make Sanchez look like a QB

Can't hammer Mark on the fumble...Ninkovich came in unblocked a play or two earlier to takes down Shonn.
