for no other reason than to stick it to the pack, yes, we should retire #4 and send him to the hall wearing a green and white jersey.

just curious...what are the rules on getting into the hall of fame? could he, if he wanted to, go in as a jet after just one season?

Haha. I think you nailed it. First Superbowl win in 40 years and I'd be happy retiring all players' numbers, giving them all next year off, and then building yet another new stadium, slightly bigger than the one being built now, and letting them play there all by themselves.

May as well Knight Sir Eric Mangini while we're at it, too :)

I would say if that happen we should retire Kris Jenkins number because he been the biggest pick up on the off season.

I really hate these threads. Do we really need a new one every week?

If Jay Feely leads us to a Super Bowl No. 3 should be retired.

I think its funny they were talking about renaming it "Favre Field" in GB and now with him coming back and ending up in NY I wonder if that is in jeopardy? Even if it is it didn't bother Favre because he chose to play?

Do you think Favre gives a rat's ass whether his number is retired?--He knows and so does every other player the value of his accomplishments.

I agree that he is a Packer for life but its awesome to watch him play like a kid. You never see another player have as much fun as he does playing the game and he's doing while wearing Jet green. And I agree that if the Jets win the SB he's number will be retire!
