I don't understand all the wailing and gnashing of teeth. The Jets are a truly horrible, embarassing mess. Which is exactly what they've been since before forever. They've had three or four multiple season windows where they were marginally competitive to actually quite good, but thats it and it's never been sustained. All this drama from the fans is kind of alarming.
No need to be sorry. It's good character to stand by your convictions. I was blasted for the thread that I started which stated 'what is the trade value for adams and bell'. In the end, I was right we should have blown this team up. I could give two shitz what other people stated.

Yep. Thanks, @Cman60. Reality has set in. You were one of the posters I was thinking about when I made this. You would post stuff and I would think, "Why is he so negative?" Now I see. You were not being negative. The truth is you are wise and realistic. It's unfortunate but the Jets are not very good and they have not been run well for a long time.
I couldn't agree more... 52 years and counting. My wife thinks I am a fool and maybe I am but the JETS are my team. No apologies dude... and do not let your optimism be degraded... someone needs to keep the pom- poms going even if reality says otherwise.

This team lacks talent at a lot of key positions, but it's not a 1-15 team. Gase is one of the, if not the worst coach in the NFL. He isn't coaching up these guys and isn't putting them in a position to succeed.
Expecting Gase to put a good portion of our roster to work stocking shelves in Costco isn't going to happen. I'm pretty shocked we beat Dallas. This has all the makings of a 0 and 16 team. The one win was a miracle.
Expecting Gase to make an adjustment with the blocking schemes and playcalling on offense is. After the opening drive he turns into a vegetable that is incapable of countering anything the opponent is doing. The offensive line is this bad because of HIS scheme, not because of talent. He has no idea how to put his players in the best position to succeed, regardless of talent level.
Is it not a coaches job to develop players and put them in the position to succeed? Who the fuck has Gase coached up or made them look better than they are? Who has actually gotten better this season? Tell me names, I'll wait.
