It is obvious how brilliant a candidate Schottenheimer would be.Just look at all the teams without head coaches,who are knocking down his door, to interview him.
He was a finalist w/ 2 different teams the last 2 years. he probably didn't get a look b/c of how our O perfomred late but that was more on the QB. You only get a short window as a hot assistant which is why you have to leave when you have that chance.
So the fact that Schotty hasn't been interviewed or mentioned for any of the other head coaching vacancies this year is because of Favre? If that were really true don't you think NFL GM's would understand that Favre was the reason, or are you just more in the know than them?
