Their was the holocaust too, and WW1. Perhaps we should stop caring about the Jets on a Jets message board and all join the peace corps
the jets are a talented team and will bounce back next year with those blitz packages....now we just need to figure out the qb situation
I do agree that this team can easily bounce back and be a playoff team..but while the blitz packages could be a strength..Im just not sure about the makeup of this roster at the linebacker position when you have 2 out 4 linebackers converted lineman and we drafted another one in the first round that did nothing this year. Not sure how any team can cover the middle of the field with converted lineman...Im sure Ryan will fix that problem..just not sure the fix is on this roster and with so much money tied to Thomas,Pace and Gholston...its an issue.
There's always Apophous (sp?) to be depressed about. That's the asteroid that will pass within our orbit in 2029.
I actually was cheering hardcore for the Cardinals to win that game. I really didnt want to see Pittsburgh win it. That Pittsburgh team only had to beat an 8-8 Chargers team, 6th seed Ravens team, and a 9-7 Cardinals team. Easiest fucking road ive ever seen....wish the Jets could get a road like that this year.
Its funny how quickly things turned around for us. I never even considered the possibility of winning a superbowl since I've been a Jets fan until 2009.
I remember screaming for a change of culture during the last mangini year, and then Rex showed up telling everyone he's going to meet Obama and snacking while damning god. My prayers were answered, and the fanbase demands not just a "good team" but excellence every year. And there is a belief that we can win that grows with each season. Rex has done what many would have believed is impossible with this franchise in a very short time.
Thats the biggest difference. The few times I've seen the Jets in the playoffs I always thought we need to get lucky or sneak a way into the superbowl. Now if we don't get there it is because we messed up and I damn well expect us to next year.
