I Know ESPN has proven itself to be ridiculous, but this is unprecedented

watching nfl countdown and its crazy that the unbeaten packers, giants battle for nfc east , play off battle etc are completely ignored for 90 mins of in depth analysis of Tebows shits.

Its denvers defense why they are 7-1 under the bible bashing c8nt...not him!

Watching non-competition sports programming is kind of silly, with a few exceptions like the various draft programs. Watching it when the topic is something that has you aggravated is ridiculous.

be that as it may, the claim that the defense is completely responsible for them winning has no basis in reality.

as I said, the defense has kept the games winnable, and Tebow has moved the ball to win them at the end. there is a huge difference between the two.

is Tebow completely responsible for them winning? of course not. but the QB gets the glory.

NFLN has several good shows, Playbook being one of them. Otherwise, I might agree with you. I like Tim Tebow. If I hated him, I'd look to avoid non-competition sports programming. If people don't like the Tebow talk, then don't watch it (or listen to it on the radio).

I strongly suspect the huge amount of coverage Tebow is getting is due to ratings. People who aren't normally interested in football are interested in his story.

Which is why I don't understand how some people can hate Tim Tebow with such venom. If nothing else, he's a really interesting character. I can't stand women's figure skating, but when Tonya Harding had Nancy Kerrigan whacked before the Olympics, I watched every single skate..... or whatever the fuck they're called. Anything new is interesting. I read somewhere that, even though the Broncos were getting blowed out, people stayed until the very end to see what Tebow would do, and gave 60 Minutes its biggest audience in two years.

I think the misconception with Tebow is this, and also the way I feel, I don't hate Tebow. I think he is a great kid and off the field he's probably one of the top 20 athletes I'd love to hang out with but his supporters are so in your face about every little thing he does, even trying to say his 2 completion game was a successful one because he had a TD pass. It's just so obnoxiously over the top.

He will improve with time, I will admit that, but media and fans trying to compare him to Elway and Steve Young already is just silly, hence why so many dread hearing about him now. He's good for controversy, he's good for ratings, and he's a great story but even he himself says he must improve his game. If the supporters can just tone it down many would actually love what's going on more than hate.

Seems to me he'd be the LAST person you'd want to hang out with. No drinking. No picking up slutty women. You'd sit in the back seat of his SUV while he pushes it up and down a barren Jacksonville country road. And for dessert - church!

At least with Ray Lewis you get to murder people.
