Well, nothing really takes the sting away because we played that bad, but at least for a second you can forget about how bad we played and look at the pics. That's at least how I see it....

I was in the UD section 55 row 6 seat 9 around the 20 yd line & because I was higher up the sightlines were perfect. I was waiting for my beers that ypu promised was going to turn me into a sunshiner but I guess U welshed on them.

Since sports is about winning the only thing that would make me happy is a team that had quality players ala the NYGs & won a SB now & then.

I'm still waiting for you to tell us all how you enjoyed watching your teams D shredded by the Niners yesterday? Are U still stoked as U were before the game ?

How did U like our inept O. Did they stoke you up at all?

What rays of sunshine do you wish to tell us about after yesterdays game?

Next time you're that close to Gholston, take a shot at him. Thanks!

Great pix! I went to Candlestick in 88 for a Mets/Giants game. I used to fly out there every summer to stay with my older brothers for a couple of weeks. That year,my seat was right behind the 1st class section, and in 1st class was the entire Mets team. I was 13 so i was on the kid flying alone deal. They let me go up there and spend a few minutes talking to them. was very cool.

OK Champ, I get it. You hate the Jets. Let it go....I was excited to go to my first game, and Ive already expressed my displeasure in the way we played. They sucked. Its obvious. What are you trying to prove?

Glad to see you at least liked your seats. FYI, you never posted where you would be, how the hell would I find you to feed you beers?:breakdance:

Well U said U would find me & since U never asked for my location I thought U knew thru ur contacts where I would be

Hopefully you will realize as U mature that just because someone does not have the same POV as you that does not mean they "hate" the team as you just posted. Do U realize how silly that makes you look that somebody would fly 1,800 miles to see a team he hates? Yep I sure in your head that make real sense.

See what happens when you post such silliness as you did when you posted that message that you were going to pour beer down me to make me a sunshiner. I am still waiting for you to tell me what rays of sunshine you got from the game?

Um yea Champ. I have a contact who was going to tell me where you were.

I was being friendly, you never responded. I just figured you didnt care to meet up or wasn't going. Its obvious you arent here to talk football. Its Xmas time so I guess I could expect Scrooge to Bah-Humbug me eventually.

The Sunshiner comment was a joke Champ, but I dont expect you to understand that. Thanks for proving as much as I can try to be cordial to you, you come back acting like the senial, "pain-in-the-ass" fan you are.

Hopefully as you mature more, you will eventually lose all ability to type so we dont have to listen to you pollute these threads with your rambling nonsense. If you dont hate this team, you hate life and really need to keep your opinions to yourself if you going to avoid much due criticism. Good Day.

p.s. - I hope you liked the pictures.

You think the pix of losers soothes the soul? Do you think I have not seen many other pix of NYJ players since 1965? Well if it was a joke which I do not believe it was in most poor taste on ur part since you do not threaten somebody just because they have views different then yours.

You still have no told me or the board what rays of sunshine you see for us

Well it was a joke. I wasnt seriously going to infuse you with almighty optimism. That would take an act of God.

So you dont like the pics. I guess you seen one pic, you seen em all, right Champ? Sorry you don't like them, but others do and for those that care, this thread is for them.

I never promised Optimism, there isnt much to be said after yesterday's game. But what the hell, here is your Ray of Sunshine Champ. We are in 1st place today. Congrats. You created the world's thinnest argument.

Champ, you're being ridiculous. He took some sweet pictures and shared them. Don't be an ass.

    Thanks, scikotics.

I too am enjoying this thread...lemme inject an opinion from an outsiders point of view...and put some assumptions in.

My guess is both of you (scik and champ) are Jets fans. Although the glaring difference is one is filled with blind optimism, and the other with the feeling that the bottom is about to drop out at any moment.

Why such a huge contrast in mentality? Simple. My guess is that champ has been rooting for the Jets for over 10 years, and scik definitely less. Why is that important? Because the longer you have rooted for the Jets, the more times you've had your heart crushed.

The team is playing lousy, and more so than the 2 straight losses, its how they lost. If we got beat on a last minute FG, or a pick 6 then you chalk it up to a bad play and move on. Fact of the matter is we look awful out there, and since the fish stinks at the head, Mangini has got to go. Hopefully that is something both of you can agree on.

Just curious, where have I said that I feel the Jets are going to be ok, and are still the Powerhouse threat we were portrayed to be 2 weeks ago? If you can find it, I would appreciate. You wont, however, because it never came from my fingertips.

Im realistic. I dont post on emotion. I wont say Mangini needs to be fired after a pathetic loss, and I wont say "Suck it Darksiders" when the Jets are kicking ass. I simply wont. Its childish to have such a dramatic swing of emotions week to week.

I agree with you mostly on with your last paragraph. We are playing like complete shit. You win some, you lose some. If we dont make the playoffs this year, then Mangini has to go. This would be an epic collapse with a team easily capable of making the playoffs. We have the talent. Even making the playoffs doesn't save him. But I think we need to let the season play out before we decide what the fate of our HC should be.

In those pics Gholston looks a little top heavy. I know Calvin Pace is listed at 270, but his weight is in his legs, Gholston's weight is in his upper body. I wonder if that hurts him when changing direction, like when he was chasing Cutler. Its getting to be obvious that Gholston is really a 4-3 DE, he needs to be traded.
