Brandon Lloyd has big time ability, his #s have been great consdiering the teammates surrounding him the past few years. IF Wash can get another good year from Brunell(unlikely but possible) he will take off and I'll bet he puts up better #s than Santana.
So the Redskins now don't have a 1st round pick AND a 3rd round pick in this years draft?? No wonder they're always in cap hell and can't truly rebuild.
Thats what happens when you never fully strip a team down, and do a true rebuild. It is basically the same thing that will happen to us if we use our cap space on a bunch of 35 year old vets instead of one or two 25-28 year olds who can help us for a few years, and actually improve with years to come, rather then age, and leave us with a cap hit. Just trust me on this-- we need youth- I would rather spend 4 million a year on one guy who can help us for 5 years that 3 old guys who will fight for a starting spot for a year and leave us with a cap hit. The skins just overpay for guys- bottom line. They also have about 5 recievers other than Santana Moss who are all about the same calibur player-- they need to spend money on one more good player, rather than having 3 avarage players on the bench every game. It's a waste for them. They have a bunch of depth, and no true second starter at WR.
