Heh, I've been saying for years the green color is taxing on the eye when a good chunk of your vision is turf. Dropping back, deciding and throwing in usually 3-4 seconds, if it buys you a half a second that could change the passing attack. Especially when checking down or scrambling.

Besides, green sucks. Haven't seen a green jet since the last Vietnam documentary I watched, and Leon Hess is pushin' up daisies. The Hess brand no longer has any association to this team.

So for fuck's sake, get some contrasting uniforms.

I think they are scheduled to wear them vs. Cincinnati too.

 

I'm probably in the minority but I liked the throwbacks.

I am definitely in the minority in that I don't like the grean uni's and like the throwbacks much better.

That being said will they put fucking outlines on the numbers. You have to wait for replays or guess the player because you can't read the gd number.

If the Jets play like today I could care less if they dress up in short shorts and bowties and enter the game to the Village People's YMCA.

I like the throwbacks better than the current jerseys. I always wear my Sterling Sharpe throwback jersey to Packers game. I'd like to get me a #4 Jets throwback as well.

 

its just not pretty enough for most on here, then again this is a football team not a modeling contest. i happen to like them they are simple and strong. i really wouldnt have a problem with them wearing them.

 

I'm happy for them to be left as they are if the opposition has as much trouble picking out numbers as you do.

 

I completely agree about reading the numbers.. I felt utterly inconvenienced throughout the game. I like the throwbacks a lot too, but I think I prefer the white unis.

I was going to say they could show up wearing diapers and I wouldn't care, but then how would you tell them apart from the cheerleaders?

 

How about the offense wears the Titan throwbacks, Defense wears home uni, and ST wears Away jerseys. And for those who play multiple teams, they come in blue jeans, shirt and a tie...coated with a coat...and yeah, the nice shiney black shoes too.

 

We are 2-1, it's not like we are 7-0 and our wins came against .500 AZ and 1-5 Miami.

 

Please I never want to see the 80's unis again..I like the Titans unis, I am not calling for a permanent change but I like to see them wear the throwbacks.

 

Hopefully this is the last we see of those putrid uniforms that aren't even throwbacks.
