We wouldn't of let him become a free agent if he didn't give back the money.... Weak WR market and he's 31. He and his agent think he'll do better longer term now, than to take the $6 mill and try free agency next year when he's 32.

I'm not saying it was a good idea on his part. I'm just saying that was his reasoning. It's a gamble and he knows it. He stated as much. It worked out well for the Jets ($6 mill) and that's all I really care about.
