I live in FL too, and I watched many of the games last year on Sopcast. The quality is pretty poor, but its watchable, and better than nothing.
So how do you find the link to plug into the other players, right noe all the sight does is link you to the sopcast player and the quality is poor, I want to check it out in tvu
i just check out the cowboys game on sopcast. not bad, works for me. if i can see the jet games that way i dont care,i'll just hook my pc up to my lcd. i'll take it anyway i can.
Yah after the first few minutes the games got alot more clear and I was able to watch without much delay....I guess alot depends on the signal strength in your house too.....quality is pretty decent as well!
Calling Out david!!! dear david, you are the blessed one. the too kind gentleman who ripped every game, including preseason and linked us to it. this maximized last season's viewing experience for me and highlighted it as being my favorite as a Jets fan. i can't tell you how many times i watched that one play in preseason last year when there was a reverse or something and our rookie OLmen came up huge and brad smith I think it was ran it for the td. amazing. i never would have though i'd pay that much attention to a preseason game/play. anyway, i'm calling you out to see if you've decided to grace us with some more digitized jet goodness this season, or if you are in fact retiring. no pressure, but i'm considering getting an portable audio device with a screen that plays mp4 files, just so i can watch jets games on the train and such. if you're not, then thanks for posting the last season (and i heard you did it the season before that, but who wants to remember that season :-\)! if you are, i implore you, please carry these old-timers into the twenty first century and post the high file size games. the video is more crisp and its worth it! as long as its recorded from HD, it's simply amazing. to anyone who hasn't taken advantage of downloading full jets games, do so! it is completely unlike recording a game on vhs, which i've done and don't really enjoy watching. reviewing a certain play or jumping around to different points of the game is as easy as clicking and dragging your mouse. not to mention, mangini would be impressed by your fanaticism with the film study. ok i've ranted enough. help us david, you're our only hope.
For those who dont need to see it live can just wait for TYT to host it. http://forums.tenyardtorrents.com/index.php
I called it spot cast...what a loser anwyays....where does one find these links?....the sopcast site doe sa ashti job of giving channel listings.....if u google "NFL live streams" will you find it?
Those are HD rips i believe which are HUGE. Not to mention you have to have a player from Mars in order to see the game and a comp with enough memory to handle the load. Be weary.
Not really. Games are about 700mb and played with VLC medis player. Everything is available free. Grant it, 700mb is a lot if you want to store the games but you can delete them after your done if you have no memory. But I watch the games on a old comp. I have a 256 radeon video card and 512 of ram on a intel p3 dell. Games run fine. I almost have all of last season. Watched them during the offseason while I was jonsen for some football.
Absolutely. It's a great player. There are some mpeg4 formats that dont play well. I think the audio plays but theres no video. I can't remember right off hand. But ffdshow cures that, which is also free.
700mb is a piss in the wind. thats average size of a 2 hour film encoded with xvid or divx at medium to high quality. for a 4 hour game thats a pretty good rip size. Thats what i was wondering if someone was encoding it or just putting up the HD rips. It might have been a different forum then. good looking out. VLC is the shit @_@
Does your comp ever restart or crash out of the blue? I had a Pwercolor 256mb radeon and it would constantly cause my machine to crash. turned out their was conflict with the driver and windows xp. Got a nvedia Gforce and havent had a problem since...
^^^ No. The install from what I remember went really smooth. I think I had to get the latest drivers for XP but apart from that it went fine. No crashes.
