hmm idk, i dont know if mangini ever played either. im also surprised at the amount who havent played.
Pop Warner wasn't a choice, but I actually value the opinions of people who got hit in the head alot less, (so post your concussion total) but I have a ton of moldy trophys hanging out in some storage area that I could care less about for it all ends up in the junkyard of time....where some Mexican sells it for a quarter... I was given a warning at work today for my "tone" in my written correspondence, WTF does that mean I asked her? She should be happy, after two years of biting my tongue I could find alot more to express my frustration, Thank god I have an office that the door closes...
Man, getting slammed into a fence isn't fun....... lol I can bench 100 for 10 reps (I need to get stronger...) but at least I can squat 155. TE is the only position I would be able to play, not fast enough for a true skill position, can't tackle well enough to be a LBer, and not strong enough to be on the line. I'm pretty good at recieving though..........
Hey this is my first post, been reading for a while. I played left tackle in highschool, I was the smallest of the tackle on the team at 6'3 245 but the smartest. The second smallest was 6'2 336. Kinda played like D'brick, great pass blocker but my run blocking wasn't very good unless we went with a zone to my side.
Mangini has the sack record for one season at Wesleyan, also 3rd team All American at Wesleyan..I als read somewhere Mangini was a All state linebacker in high school and state champ in Wrestling . I played HS footbal anf I coach HS football currently
R3Tornado: Where did you go to high school? Ohio State? Oh my god. You would have been one of the largest players on our team. I played 3 years of varsity and the largest guy in that span was 6' 5" 250lbs. He went on to play college ball at Bucknell. But our team is traditionally pretty good. I mean sectional semifinals, finals, and championships are not rarities. I can't believe that the next smallest guy was larger about Sam Adam size. What was the largest guy? 7'8" 5000 lbs?
High School - Quarterback - was too small to go further, but I could throw the ball. It's too bad really
I played in high school and in scrimmage in college (scrimmage is basically practice team, you're not on the team really). A lot of people claimed I was better than the starters, but whatever, it doesn't matter now. That being said, Herm Edwards played as a pro, and Eric Mangini did not, which of these two do you think i value the opinion of more?
Tennessee Jet: I played at Fort Knox Kentucky, and our team sucked. Our coach was a moron, our line was huge, strong, and could block one on one like no others, but he decided to run a sweep almost every single play. Our biggest player was 6'8 380
im playing freshman now, does that count... im a QB, played 6 years of Pop Warner, won 2 state championships
