Gotta luv Stub Hub. Last year I was taking four kids to Devils games, with seats in the first row of the upper tier or the mezzanine for less $$$ than going to a movie.
It should be empty. On average Jets have the highest ticket prices in the entire NFL. What a joke. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8...d-patriots-highest-ticket-prices-survey-shows
Early in the season, when the weather is nice... You'll have a good crowd. Late in the season, if the weather is cold, wet and rude and the team isn't playing well, that place will be empty. People won't even be able to GIVE tickets away.
"More reasons for optimism now"?....Did you watch Mark Snachez play last year?...Who is going to run the ball?....Who is going to be the tight end?...Draft picks are great, until they turn into Kyle Wilson...
hobbes marty morningwood love is amazing. i mean shit i am hoping the guy does well but lets not annoint his as the greatest oc of all time yet.
Scott Frost sadly I agree with most of what you said  I think they must trade Revis now or risk him walking next year. This team IMO goes nowhere this year and is lucky to win 6 games,,just too any questions all over both sides of the ball. I would trade Cro also as he has never ad more trade value and we can set our sights on 2 years from now. I would love to eat crow and be wrong but I don't see it,,,,,hopefully with a few trades and solid drafting my outlook changes. Ps Scott Frost was a Parcels guy,,,,,but I was a Rich Miano fan myself
No one is anointing him as the next Paul Brown, but if you're too blind to see the night and day comparison between Mm and Schotty/Sparano...that says far more about you.
The stadium will be full early, then weather will lower crowds. My hope is that our new GM will make the most of a crucial time. I also think Rex has to grow as a head coach, now that the OC is set. It should be interesting.
Cumberland will play, Hayden Smith will get a shot this year at TE. Powell and McKnight, and an as of yet unknown will be in the backfield..many on the board want Barnard to bedraggled, I like Gilleslee...but that's an unknown, but there two backs on the roster. Yes, I watched, rewatched, and rerewatched every snap from last year. And, Sanchez had a crappy year, but there were two games particularly where he looked like the guy we thought we were drafting, and even in some of the mediocre games he was not the problem...and MM is very proactive in feeding his players what they can do and adapting to their strengths instead forcing them to adapt to his ways. For every one that says Sanchez simply can't play....it would be great if the detailed the extenuating circumstances surrounding him and why they don't matter, as quickly as they dismiss his successes due to the circumstances that surrounded him.
1. Cumberland sucks with an upside at average. 2. Powell may be an unknown, but Mcknight sucks. You want a guy like Jacquizz or Lamichael James filling that spot and he isn't it. Get back to me when scheme helps him hang onto the football. 3.Maybe you watched, maybe you didn't. Nobody knows. But things seen through a homer's eyes are much different than somebody being objective or even being just a fan. Nearly everybody else that has watched him has come to much different conclusions than you. You don't have a monopoly on game film. In b4 "but boomer and simms said blah blah blah". We all know and we don't care about 2 guys against a sea of others including fan of Sanchez, Trent Dilfer, who has come to the conclusion that Nacho is a disappointment. 4.So in year 4 Sanchez had 2 games where he looked like a guy picked at 5. I should point out that in one of those games you gush about he had (WOOP WOOP FANTASY STAT ALERT!) 178 yards and a TD. Let's suit the kid up for a HOF jacket right now. Sam Bradford was dreadful that day and Sanchez needed to do very little. But let us not let little things like context get in the way shall we? 5. Plenty of people have discussed why Sanchez sucks and sucked last year even given the "extenuating circumstances". You choose to ignore those well thought out arguments because you don't care about facts. You see football in a very simplistic manner and it shows from your "arguments". 6. I expect a lackluster response to this. Shock me for once on a Sunday in which I'm bored or I'll go back to ignoring you.
Andy Reed had his fingers all over philly's offense...just like rex has his on the jets defense. Why dont you think andy pick up morningwood in KC?
im not a big fan of morningwood because he throws the ball entirely too much. AND that is just not going to work for markie mark sanchez. hopefully we can find a qb who can throw the ball under 10 yards.
Oh man!!! I'm not sure what's going on here, but I wanna see the guy he's talking to respond to this! Damn! I love this site! The aggression, the smack talk!
First of all, let's start with this Miss Cleo post. Cumberland was raw coming out, and has had an injury or two along the way, but played well enough last year. Again, the only argument you have is misquoting mine. My point was not that Cumberland was going to be Kellen Winslow, only that Keller departing o's not that big a heartache. Cumberland has decent hands, decent speed, and blocks better than Keller, and the staff (like with every unknown project player) likes Hayden Smith...again the point was not how great they are, it was the diminished importance of Kellers locale. Learn to read. This is too asinine to comment on. Yes, McKnight sucks at catching balls and making plays in space. That's why he's been one of the best kick returners in the NFL for the last two years. Mmmmkay.... Not really Simms has advocated for Sanchez, and Esiason even pointed out that NO QB could thrive given the offensive Uncoordination (his word) he was playing under, which is the only point I've been making. If he fails this year, case closed, but in order to indict Sanchez, especially for last year you have to absolve Sparano, and the immens rash of injuries at the skill positions. Even Westhoff slammed Sparano after left...but I guess you're a little more knowledgable than a HoF coach...interestiing Yes context... Sparano,Rueland,Gates,Gilyard,Holmes out,Keller out,Hill out...yes context, but don't let facts get in the way of a good diatribe. Yes Bradford sucked that day...want to tell the class who was calling thelays that got THEM to 3 wins before that game? Everyone on the NoNacho bandwagon, likes to point to the obvious, accuracy issues, and not taking care of the football. We get it. But some of that, is not always on the QB, sometimes the problem is on the receiving end. That doesn't absolve him, however, I've yet to see a single intelligent response, that deals with the guys calling the plays.
1. Fair enough. Although I don't think it is clear that Cumberland is a better blocker than Keller. Also I think there is a huge chemistry factor that will drop off if Cumberland is the starter. 2. Where did I say McKnight sucks at catching balls and making plays in space? I didn't. He is a good kick returner. Pretty bad running back which is what the discussion is about. He can't hold onto the football and hasn't been special in the running game. 3. Let me tell you something about Phil Simms. He picks a guy he likes and then refuses to jump off their wagon even when it makes him look stupid. If you watched the SB you could see it with a QB other than Sanchez. He coronated Kaepernick as "his boy" and then proceeded to bail him out on plays where he screwed up. Jim Nantz called him out on it a couple times. The guy is hardly a QB guru. He is a blowhard who announces games. And no, you DON'T have to absolve Sparano to criticize Sanchez. For the thousandth time, that is an absolute logical error on your end. You can consider that and still analyze his play accordingly. Just like you can analyze his play under Schottenheimer. Footall is not a science experiment where you can isolate variables. Despite not perfect conditions, Sanchez still played worse than he should have. All throughout his career. 4. Theres your regurgitated "already been hacked to shreds" argument about the weapons. Yes, we all know. We all watched. 99% of free thinkers have considered that and come to the same conclusion. 1% is overstating it 5. Bradford sucks. That does not mean that Schottenheimer does or does not suck. Do you see how that works? The 2 can be analyzed seperately. That adds zero to your argument. Stop thinking simple 6. We all know that some problems can be on the coaching. 4 years in and 2 coordinators in we all can sift through the failings of the coaches and find the nuggets that are consistently Sanchez' flaws. Those things are what make him bad. Stop blaming the coaches and make Sanchez take some personal responsibility. As a torch-bearer for the GOP the idea should come natural.
