He'll make it to camp next year but he really got to bring it or else is done. Especially since an undrafted rookie is making him look like a fool lol.

I don't see how they can afford to waste a roster spot on him since the 3 rookies playing ahead of him are obviously outperforming him.

He needs to get gone in January.

I would definitely agree. there really is gunna be no room for him. on top of that he's the offensive dee millner lol. but knowing the front office I'm sure they'll bring him to camp at least. I highly doubt hell be on the team next year though

You're probably right. I'm guessing he's gone with first cuts unless they find some badass point returner at WR and cut him sooner.

Hopfully sooner rather then later lol. cause at this point he's pretty much unless. And it would be a hindrance to the other young wide receivers to try and fit him into the game plan

Devin Smith is a complete waste of a roster space. Another 2nd round pick wasted. Next year should be Q, Decker, Robby, Peake and J Marshall as a youth movement. I like B Marsh maybe more than most but he needs to be moved if the compensation is halfway decent. Time to rebuild fellas. Including removing Toilet Bidet Bowles from the scene.

Smith's roster spot moving forward will show us how stubborn Maccagnan is. Well run franchises keep the better player on the roster regardless of draft position.

No one is trading for Marshall, and if they are it's nothing more than a 6th or 7th IMO. We got him for a 5th and he's two years old, a relatively outspoken annoying player to have on the roster whose talent won't coincide with the baggage at 33.

Why would someone trade a 4th or 5th round pick for Smith?

I honestly don't see Decker and Marshall both being here next year... only one of the two, and that's most likely Decker because we will be stuck with him while he's injured.

I wanna trade Brandon Marshall to Philly for their 3rd rd pick since they love handing out picks these days... if they say no I'll take the 4th.. there's no way they deny Brandon Marshall... Wentz will do better with him there.

Also I feel like Enunwa can fill Marshall's shoes better than he can fill Decker's.

    1. Enunwa
2/3. Decker/Robby (Of course we plug Deck in the slot a lot and Robby more of a deep threat than Deck on the outside)
    4. Smith
    5. Peake

He'd probably retire if the Jets tried to trade him somewhere. The only reason he liked the trade was that he was going to live 5 minutes away from the set of Inside the NFL. That's his real job.

I agree. I think Smith can now be properly utilized with Petty's stronger arm. With these receivers the Jets will finally have wings!

Is Enunwa shining because he is not being defended by the number 1 corner? Decker is definitely a 2. I think Anderson is fast enough and his hands are good enough to be the 1.

I don't think Anderson is strong enough to consistently beat double coverage down the field. Right now he is pretty much getting free releases off the line against nickel corners.

The guy is a Terrance Williams clone, a solid #3 who can slip by a secondary while they're busy paying attention to the 1 & 2. I'd be happy with that.

Although i disagree i respect your pov. Was Marvin Harrison a #3? Can you see similar traits in Anderson?

Deevin Smithner still has an opportunity to prove himself between now and next summer. The odds are stacked against him, but he's not completely busted yet.

I think Anderson has that potential but he's very thin... maybe if he can bulk up a little. Regardless he should be on the field at all times next year, him and Q.

Enunwa just has it all, size, speed, route running, soft hands (even though he did have some drive killing drops this year), can run block you name it. He's the real deal, complete package.. I'd rather throw a fade route in the end zone to Q than Robby.

I don't like Devin Smith I don't see where he does anything that really stands out in the NFL.. doesn't get that step ahead of folks like he did at OSU anymore.

Marvin Harrison was about the same frame as Robby Anderson...some guys just play bigger than they look, and on the flip side (quoting the legendary draftnik Joel Buchsbaum) some look like Tarzan, play like Jane.
