He was and there is no doubt that stretch of games played a role in the Vikes' decision to trade Randy Moss but the competition adjusted and Culpepper and co. sucked in 2005.

If Daunte proves he is the qb he was with Randy Moss without Randy Moss you guys might have a shot, thing is I don't believe Daunte is really that good.

Are they as good as Ricky Williams?

Your calling Norv Turner an awful offensive coordinator? He led one of the most prolific offenses of all time. When he was with the Dolphins he was handcuffed by Wanstedt most of the time which didn't let him open things up. They were the number two scoring offense for two years in a row with Norv Turner calling the plays.

If you're talking about the Ricky Williams of last year i say yes. combined their efforts are better than that of Ricky Williams.

I see it from the bottom up, like a lot of other years past.

9 wins will win the division this year. Despite a week schedule outside the division, noones really that good. I could see a situation like the one in 2001(I think that was the year) where three teams were tied at 9-7(jets, phins, pats.)

9-7 equals a weak division i stand by my original statement.AFC east is now the new NFC east of years gone by.

9-7? Maybe the Jets, perhaps the Bills, but not the Pats or Fins.

The AFC East isn't what it once was, thats for sure, which will give the Pats & Fins a likely 4 divisional wins each, at a minimum.

Then they get to play the weakest divisions in each conference to boot? Thats just unfair! Which teams are going to beat them? Indy? Best chance. Jags? Not likely.

    Pats 12-4 at worst, & Miami 10-6.

Now he's the best in the league? Just a bit over-the-top, huh?

Go back and take a look at the stats from 2001 thru 2004 and tell me where the Fins OL has improved. They have a history of giving up few sacks and gaining more than 4YPC for 4 of those years. What changed? Don't give him credit where it isn't due. Has SD'd OL fallen apart without him?

Regarding the Cowboys and his efforts, I'd say he had some freakin amazing talent in the early '90's, just like the rest of that team. Hard to screw that OL up.

OK, after earlier predicting 8-8 across the board I have studied the schedules and drawn some conclusions:

Pats and Dolphins will each win four divisional games and lose two.

Jets will win 2 and lose four as will Buffalo.

Dolphins will go 3-3 in the Conference outside the division, Pats conceivably 6-0, but we'll say 5-1 on averages. Jets could be 4-2, Bills 3-3.

Against the NFC North all four sides could go 4-0, but I'd imagine Miami will drop their game in Chicago, New England will lose at least one of their road games (GB & Min), the Jets won't beat Chicago or win at Green Bay and the Bills will likely lose at least two of their back-to-back-to-back October matchups with that division, but beat Green Bay coming off the bye week.

That leaves the Patriots at 12-4, Miami at 10-6, New York at 8-8 and Buffalo at 7-9, though a win streak in October could get them as high as 9-7.

Damn dude no need to get all emotional about it. You're calling your own fans idiots because they don't agree with you. People have their own opinions and just because you don't agree with it dosen't mean they are idiots. I can honestly say that the Dolphins are a better team this year through the upgrades we have gotten through FA and the draft. Don't forget we did beat Denver(AFC runner up) and Carolina(NFC runner up). You have to admit we did alot better than most people expected of us last year.

3 games that a non-rebuilding team would have won. Carolina and Denver count as well. Not trying to be a prick or anything just stating the facts.

The majority of the pats last superbowl team is still there---and the pats will be getting back real good players that played very little last year due to injuries(gay, harrison, koppan, light, ect.) and additions like a solid db like warfield(who might not even make the team, wich says something) will contribute--they CHOOSE to let adam.v go because he could no longer kick 50+ yard fg's,in fact they rarely tried--and his kickoffs were getting shorter and shorter.

givens will be missed-but he was hardly great,he was a solid #2 receiver.

---dolphins were clearly given the last game of the year last year when the pats played there 2nd/3rd stringers for the large majority of the game-and lost on purpose when the back-up qb purposely over-threw the game tying 2-point conversion over the head of his receiver by 2 feet.

wich culpepper are the fish gonna get?? the one who could not longer throw alley-oop lob passes to moss/and who has a bad injury?? he is very inconsistent--

i think the additions of a healthy caldwell/jackson, mills/thomas will more then make-up for the production of givens---and maroney will more then make-up for what a injured dillon gave them last year.

pats take this division without breaking a sweat-

penninghton is coming back from anOTHER REALLY BAD INJURY and his arm will be even weaker then it already was, nobody fears the jets or chad in the least--there is no need too.

BILLS? they suk so BADDDD,there is no need to even bring them up.
