if you can't pass when your ground game was on like ours, why even have a QB? Just run an extra blocker out there and do the wildcat

record for most rushing yards in a loss
Cleveland Rams, 320 in 14-10 loss to Washington Redskins on 11/5/44

2nd on this list? Jets from 10/18/09

    Re: posts 20 and 23

The Jets on 10/18/09 and Bills on Thnksgvng Day '76 are the other two times since the AFL-NFL merger in which a team surpassed the 300 yard rushing mark and still found a way to lose

I told ya so. This Raiders team is good for one effort a month. They blew their load last week vs the Eagles. They proved all they had to prove in October.

    I'm happy I was wrong.

It was nice to see the Jets bounce back and, unlike last week, beat a team they should beat. Still, I don't think we exactly need to go around pounding our chests all day. The Raiders are awful. We'll see what we've got next week. Even though our record is much better than the Dolphins, I don't see them as the underdogs.

Yeah, next week the Jets will play a team that will show up and play. The Jets will be 4-point favorites or thereabouts.
