Heyo JETS fans, I am an Aussie, living in the US for the last 5 years. I found the boards and subscribed because I'm a 5 year JET fan and I really needed to see what the diehard fans of this organization thought about their dismal second half to the season. I am mystified as to WTF happened? My wife wants to get into football with me, but after seeing me go nuts every Sunday afternoon, she now takes the children to a safe place far from my volatility. Anyway, I feel and know the pain. I have followed my old Rugby League team from back in Aus, who btw have not won a Grand Final in their 41 year history (Cronulla Sharks). My dad played for the JETS (Rugby League) back in Aus and I really wanted to get into the NFL, so NY Jets seemed an automatic choice. It would be real easy for me to support another team considering: my short NFL supporting life and my location to the team, but, I proudly wear my #87 jersey to work on football friday and stick it to my fellow co-workers when I can. 2008 is over, I'm looking forward to 2009 as a NYJ Fan. Can someone hold my hand as I enter the dark side?

Been lurking for about 5 years now. Somebody posted something that I just had to respond to last week so I signed up.
