I've never been so disgusted with the state of the Jets...usually in terrible seasons I can get behind threads and thinking like this but I see absolutely no hope in the near future and don't even care about some of these young players Just tank and hopefully wipe the slate clean...Macc and Bowles seemed like a good idea but they're just not. Idzik left us with a ridiculous amount of cap space and this is the result. How can anyone bash Bowles but say Macc is doing a good job? No one likes starting over again and again but I'm a believer in cutting your losses if you feel like you're wasting time with the wrong people leading the way Hoping that we find some aggressive forward thinking HC that works well with a real football mind GM. If Bowles was seriously interested in any kind of rebuild he would bench revis. Looked terrible all year. Parcells would have him inactive by now.
He's probably going to get cut after this season. Why not give his spot to evaluate people who might actually be here? Same thing they did at QB.
Because that makes sense and we don't to things that way. TB is a bit slow to see the obvious and when you factor in stubborness, you wind up with young players stagnating on the bench and a very steep learning curve.
