Actually the Jets opened as a 1 point favorite, but the wise money has come in on Cleveland. The oddsmakers change the lines based on what the moeney comes in on. My money although it's not the wise money is on the Jets and the over of 37. I just checked the up to date #s and the Jets are getting as low as 1 1/2 in some places but I got em -2. Don't blame the oddsmakers, they think the Jets are the better team even on the road. The Jets are getting 2 because the public doesn't quite think the Jets are good enough.
If you're a conspiracy theorist, this is exactly how the Jets can be two point dogs. If someone was to line the wallets of the referees... and Vegas was involved or found out.. they would sure be apt to provide a betting line that would lead to heavy betting on the Jets. Vegas and the bookies made out like BANDITS on this game.

I don't gamble. It is safer that way. I guess the bookies really do know something. :breakdance: I guess they must have found out that we were going to let a 2.6 yds/carry runner look like a HOF back against our "can't stop any run" defense. I guess they knew the refs would be out to get us again. Oh, well. We knew Herm's mess was not going to be fixed in one year.

I didn't understand the line on the game; I never said I was going to bet on them. I know better. I am a devout fan of the Jets because I never gamble on them.
Guess the odds makers knew that there OL was going to kill out DL & there DL was going to kill our OL. What does having to be a "devout" NYJ fan have anything to do with the the Vegas odds?

He wouldn't enjoy watching the Jets as much if he constantly was betting on them and had money riding on the game. Is it that god damned difficult to understand? Tons of Jet fans I know won't bet on them, because it makes the game unenjoyable to watch.
