Why would you be shocked? The guy was a lower level administrator for the Seahawks. Wasn't even third on the personnel totem pole. This is the same guy who lets go of Revis based on the premise that "CBs arent all that valuable", then proceeds to draft an oft injured, product of Saban system CB ninth overall. He then follows that up by spending yet ANOTHER first rounder on a DT, and then selects Geno fucking Smith as his guy at QB. He then follows that draft up with a 12 pick draft that nets maybe 2 decent players. And don't even get me started on his free agency woes.......
